With the flame retardant finishing, the fabrics possess varying degrees of ability to prevent the spread of flame, and stop burning quickly when removed from the fire source.

According to different fibers, the flame retardant finishing can be divided as follows:

1.Flame retardant finishing on cellulose fiber fabrics. Phosphorus compounds are mainly, such as tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium chloride (THPC). During the finishing process, they are used together with nitrogen or halogen-containing compounds to improve the flame-retardant effect.

2.Flame retardant finishing on polyester fabrics. Using TRIS(2,3-DIBROMOPROPYL)PHOSPHATE as finishing agents.

3.Flame retardant finishing on wool. Compounds generated from titanium salt or zirconium salt with fibers are usually used after or together with dyeing.

The flame-retardant textile has passed B2 level of GB5455-85 and can be washed for at least 50 times without fading.
